Very unusual – V8 automatic, PS, PB, tinted glass, radio, heat, spotlights, sun visor, hood bird and 4WD. Special ordered in Colorado by Mr. Floyd Hill, delivered to GMC Truck and Coach Division in Denver CO. on 6-5-57. I also have the original owner’s manual. I believe ’57 was the first year for the automatic transmission for 4WD.

The Grand Prix Chapter is a specialty chapter of the Pontiac Oakland Club International, and the “Personal Luxury Performance Pontiac” is our member’s first choice for grand touring in style. We encourage our members to take their GPs out and use them and have fun. We have started a special class at POCI National Conventions called the “Road Warriors” in order to provide recognition for POCI members that elected to drive their cars to the Annual Convention. Additionally, we provide and sponsor the popular “slow drags” event at the Annual Convention in which the last driver to cross the finish line is declared the winner, and we also sponsor a POCI Regional event that will be held in Pontiac, IL on September 9-11 2011. The POCI GP Chapter is  dedicated to the restoration and preservation of all Pontiac Grand Prix’s.

Members will receive a chapter newsletter to keep them informed of news and events. Dues are only $10 per year. Our official chapter website is: www.firebirdtachapter.com and has all the information you need to know about the chapter. We are holding an annual meeting at the POCI Convention this year on Thursday July 7th from 12:00-01:00. Please come and join us, if you are attending, and learn more about us.
