“Previously known as the Sunbird, Pontiac’s 1995 subcompact model had a new Sunfire name and new styling, engineering and technology. It was essentially an all-new car. Standard feature of the Sunfire included a 2.2- liter OHV four-cylinder engine for the SE (the GT was powered by a 2.3-liter DOHC 16-valve Quad-4; aluminized stainless steel exhaust system; dual airbags; tinted glass, anti-locking braking system; a coil-over-the-shock rear suspension; rear HVAC vents; a tilt-wheel adjustable steering column; and a tachometer.”
