From the “Standard Catalog of Pontiac 1926-1995” by John Gunnell and Ron Kowalke

“The Grand Prix had some of the most exciting changes in the 1991 Pontiac lineup. There was a revised model range, with the Grand Prix GTP replacing the Grand Prix Turbo Coupe.  The GTP featured an all-new 210-hp Twin Dual Cam V-6.”

“Since its reintroduction as a 1985 model, the Grand Am was Pontiac’s most popular nameplate. Its sales topped the one million mark and nearly a quarter million Grand Ams were sold in 1989 alone. The Bonneville remained Pontiac’s full-sized Touring Sedan.”

1991 production total = 525,210
