From John Gunnell’s book, 75 Years of Pontiac Oakland:

“An impression of lowness was accentuated on all 6-28 Series Pontiacs by a 1 1/8-inch higher radiator and a 1″ higher hood. Longer looking windows were created by raising the body panels 1 1/4-inches at the window sills and by dropping the top window line 1 1/2-inches. The lowness of the the new roofline was exaggerated in art work by the artists who prepared Pontiac ads this year.”

“The 2,595 pound 4-door sedan (Job 8820) accommodated 5 passengers. It was introduced in January.”
